ACT launches giga: What do they launch?
ACT Fibernet’s 1 Gbps speed plan launched by Telangana State IT Minister Shri. KalvakuntaTaraka Rama Rao (KTR) at Hotel Taj Krishna, Hyderabad and by this Hyderabad becomes the 1st gigacity in India to offer 1 Gbps speeds of the internet through wired broadband. ACT Fibernet uses the Fiber Optic Technology for its Broadband plans and now with this 1 Gbps internet connection; it is offering 400 times the faster speed than the national average speed of 2.5 Mbps. This is going to be a new revolution in the development of Information technology in India.

I will let you know the real speed experience I have tested through the DEMO devices at the launch location. The Speed is mind-blowing, and you can see from the below video that has taken by me, and it clearly shows that the 1 Gbps speed has taken only 37 seconds to download an HD movie with 3.5 GB size and whereas the 100 Mbps speed PC still downloading the same movie in the second PC.
